We finally have a blog!!

I signed up for this blog not long after Ella was born, and now she is 5 months and I am just doing the first post.  I am not the best at keeping in touch with everyone that I would like to, so I thought this would be a great way to keep everyone updated.  We have definitely been busy the last few years.  We got married in November 2004, I graduated from BYU in December 2004, in November 2005 we bought our first house, in May 2007 we sold our house and moved to Arkansas for the summer for Dustin's internship, in July 2007 we found out we were pregnant, and in September 2007 we lived in Salt Lake while Dustin finished up his last semester.

In December 2007 Dustin graduated from BYU with a degree in Information Systems and he walked in April.

In January 2008 we bought our house in North Salt Lake and Dustin started work in Park City with Backcountry.

On March 2, 2008 at 11:00 am Ella was born 2.5 weeks early and took us by surprise.  She was 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 19" long.

Unfortunately Ella ended up in the NICU for a couple days with really bad jaundice and it was so difficult to leave her.  I was so excited when I was able to bring her home.  She was so tough with everything they had to do to her in the hospital.  This is us right before we went home.

When Ella was 3 months old we did a 5K race together in Springville along with the rest of the Jensen clan.  She was a good sport and slept through the whole race even though it was pouring down rain.

Ella went swimming for the first time in St. George when we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa McQuay.  She wasn't a big fan of the cold water, so the second time we put her in her blow up pool filled with warm water.
