Potatoes and Toes

In the last couple weeks Ella has successfully started eating solid foods.  So far she has only had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and bananas, but the potatoes are her favorite.  She makes a huge mess every time she eats, but she really enjoys herself.  My personal favorite is when she does a raspberry right as I am putting a full spoon of food in her mouth.  This usually leads to me finding sticky stuff in my hair and all around the kitchen throughout the day.  Also, lately Ella loves to grab her toes constantly.  Today she even tried to get them in her mouth.

Rice Cereal

Sweet potatoes (clearly very messy and this was only part way through the meal)

Watching her Baby Einstein video and grabbing her toes.

Jill! So glad you found me. I have been thinking about you a ton and I saw Amy one day at Nordstroms. We need to catch up! And did you know my first name is Ella? Thanks for naming your daughter after me. :) Miss you!

It cracks me up when people just don't get it that babies get reeeeally messy when they eat, even when they're being fed. I tried so hard, but Asher was always a mess, and now that he feeds himself 99% of the time...still a big fat mess! But it's fun.

We are coming back to Utah on Sept. 15 and staying till the next Sunday. If it works out, we'd love to hang out. I'm pretty much bored all day, so if you have nothing to do either, give me a call! My new number is 804-399-0430.

Jill-You look so good. And I was happy to see that you married your missionary sweetie!! I knew that countdown chart in your room was going to prove fruitful! What an adorable baby. I've got to say that it is a good thing you had her 2 1/2 weeks early or else she would have been a big kid! And with you being so small and her big, well, you can picture the issues there! Anyway, Congrats!! You guys are a very cute family. Oh, and I loved the running pic!
